What RentPath does

RentPath organises Queensland rental information into practical pathways: what the issue generally means, what to check now, what evidence to keep, and where to go next.

It does not decide legal outcomes, replace official forms, or provide representation. It points you to the RTA, QSTARS, QCAT, Queensland Government housing resources and specialist services.

  • Use the search bar for a topic, form, deadline or plain-English question.
  • Use the issue finder when you are not sure where to start.
  • Use tools and templates to organise information before contacting an official or advice service.

Urgent help

Common questions

Is RentPath an official RTA website?

No. RentPath is independent and is not affiliated with the RTA, QCAT, the Queensland Government or any legal service.

Can RentPath tell me whether my notice is valid?

No. A notice can only be assessed properly by checking the exact document, service method, agreement and facts. RentPath helps you identify what to check and where to get advice.

Does RentPath store my tenancy data?

The tools run locally in your browser. Checklist progress may be saved on your device only if you use those checklists. You can clear saved checklist data from the privacy page or tools page.
